Yes, every single dialogue is synchronized. |

The hero unfortunately can't ride on animals. He will continue to explore the world by feet, but the paths and the surrounding have been modelled in a big variety, so there won't be any boredom even on long journeys. |

Piranha Bytes explained that it is technically impossible to realize a release on a console. |

There is no multiplayer mode included because of the high complexity of the game play. Single player is the only playable mode. |

There are 47 different spells for mages. Also paladins can use magic, there are 10 special paladin spells. |

After the loss of the ore mines, king Rhobar is almost defeated by the orcs. His only hope is a small unit of soldiers, who got underway to Khorinis for getting ore. More infos are available under the corresponding menu point. |

Is there a guild system equally to Gothic 1? |
Yes, the player is able to join several different groups. There is in example an order of paladins which is defending a city, an alliance of farmers which collaborates with bandits and a monastery where mages pray to Innos. They differ completely and mostly have different attitudes and goals. |

Can I import my character from Gothic 1? |
No, because the character would be much too strong, this wouldn't be much fun. |

Can I wear helms and shields in Gothic 2? |
There are some armors which include a helm. Unfortunately no shields occur in the game. |

Yes, definitively. New beasts include dragons, trolls, dragon snapper etc. And there is much more to hunt! |

The controls have been modified, now they are much easier to handle with. |

Which graphic engine has been used for Gothic 2? |
It is a modified version of the Gothic 1 engine, which is more powerful than the old one. The texture resolution has been improved by the factor 4. Also the world is much more detailed. |

Are there many bugs in the game? |
Piranha Bytes performed a beta test to avoid bigger bugs, also the loading time is shorter than in the predecessor. Please make sure you have the latest patch if bugs occur. |
