Shortly after Gothic II, PiranhaBytes released a fantastic add-on that added a complete new world, several new guilds and a second main story to the game. For more details take a look at this page.

If you have the German add-on, you can install it over your English Gothic II game and use the unofficial translation mod created by fans.

Installing the add-on over an English game is a little bit tricky because the setup requires a German version to be present. But don't worry, we have created a small batch file that will do most of the work for you.

Follow these steps to get a fully translated add-on:

• Install Gothic II. Let's assume you have chosen the folder C:\Program Files\Jowood\Gothic II
• Download the files Gothic2_130_de.exe and Gothic2_130_en.bat
• Copy both Gothic2_130_de.exe and Gothic2_130_en.bat into C:\Program Files\Jowood\Gothic II
• Run Gothic2_130_en.bat and wait till it has finished.
• Run the add-on setup (Gothic2-Addon-Setup.exe) from the CD and install "Die Nacht des Raben".
• Download the official Add-on patch 2.6 and install it.
• Download the Night Of The Raven Translation Mod and install it.
• The setup of the translation mod will create a link to the GothicStarter on your desktop. To run the fully translated add-on, start the GothicStarter, pick "Gothic II The Night Of The Raven" from the list on the left side, then push the "Spiel starten" button.
